It’s also beautiful from an aesthetic standpoint, it’s very calming and relaxed (making it an easier learning environment, as you’re not ramped up on anxiety) and is one of the only levels to take place at night, and the music for this level is also one of the best in the soundtrack, I listen to it on repeat to study a lot. I believe it’s also the first level to have a treasure box and key, so it introduces a lot of gameplay concepts that carry through the rest of the game in an intuitive way, with little environmental hazards or glides (as you have already learned how to glide at this point) leaving you to only focus on various enemy types and puzzles. It introduces these concepts in an environment that makes it easy to learn, and a memorable way that you remember for the rest of the game. It’s the first level in the game that introduces alternate enemy types, like giant enemies that have to be flamed, or enemies wearing armor that have to be charged. I personally like it from both a design and aesthetic viewpoint.
